How to Publish a Blog Post on Blogger in 2022

Publishing an Article to your Blog can take time and effort, especially if you’re just starting out. The process of Publishing a Blog post can be confusing, especially if you haven’t done it before, but in 2022 the process will be much simpler than it is today. In order to successfully publish your next article on your blog in 2022, follow these instructions carefully!

1: Create an account

First, You need to an account for Publish a Blog Post on Blogger. You will want to create an account with Google. To do so, follow these steps: Click Create Account. Fill out all required information, such as Name and Email Address. Do not share your password with anyone! Create passwords with multiple characters, not just numbers and letters that are simple to guess. Keep your passwords secure at all times! DO NOT USE YOUR REAL NAME AS YOUR PASSWORD! This is for security purposes. If someone knows your name, they can easily get into your account by trying different variations of it until they find one that works.

2: Write your First Blog Post

Writing is easily one of my least favorite tasks, but it has its benefits. First, you get to rant about how much you hate writing (at least I do). Second, writing forces me to think through my ideas before I share them with anyone else. And finally, it gives people something more substantial than a tweet or an email if they want more information from me and that’s pretty awesome. So take some time today and publish your first post somewhere so that people can read it. It doesn’t have to be long or informative just get started! In just a few years, you'll likely have hundreds or thousands of posts published online for potential employers or clients to find (like mine!)

3: Fill out your blog settings

There’s a lot going on with Google’s Blogging Platform, but as long as you click out of that window, it doesn’t get any harder. Before you start sharing content and writing, though, fill out your profile information (including your website name), your bio (including where you work), and at least one category for which you want to publish posts. You can add more categories later if necessary; just don’t let them overwhelm you now! This is all basic information, so there’s no reason not to have it set up before you publish anything. Plus, setting up your account correctly means you might even get found by someone looking for blogs related to these topics! 4: Start typing: Head over to New post in the top left corner of your screen.

4: Add an image

If you are posting from an app, you can use images that already exist, or add images directly from your computer. If you upload your own image, make sure it’s at least 500x500 pixels; if it’s smaller than that, your post will be zoomed out too much. Also make sure that what is shown as a preview does not have private information like passwords and security keys. Preview images for posts don’t show up in search results or reader views of your content. (For more about how preview images work and tips for making them attractive and engaging, see Chapter 9 .) 5: Click Publish Now. The post will go live immediately after a confirmation window appears at top of screen.

5: Pick a layout

You don’t need a big budget or designer skills to create an attractive and professional looking site. Google offers some free web design templates you can use, or there are tons of great third-party website builders out there. I used WordPress and got excellent results with zero design experience required. Using one of these services will help ensure your website looks like an authority online and that will help with SEO and other online marketing efforts later down the road. If you want even more control over your site, hire a freelancer for relatively cheap; it’s well worth it for something as important as your website.

6: Promote your blog

Once you’ve written your post, it’s time to Hit Publish. Be sure you’re following any instructions your target website may require are your images hosted on their site? Is it okay for readers to leave comments?. You should also make sure all of your links are up-to-date. It’s also a good idea to schedule social media promotion, so that once your post is live you can hop onto another platform and share it with friends and followers. Remember: The more eyeballs you get, the better. Now go write!
